Services / Plan Making

LDA Design has been supporting Local Planning Authorities, communities and their strategic partners in the preparation of local planning documents for many years. Our work encompasses visioning, expert witness and strategic development advice including guidance on urban design, place-making and response to environment, advice on development delivery, policy drafting and peer review.

We produce the crucial evidence base that underpins local plans and DPD’s, including masterplans, development frameworks, energy and sustainability strategies and landscape character assessment. We have drafted and contributed to many area action plans, supplementary planning documents (including design guides), infrastructure development plans, regeneration strategies and neighbourhood plans.
