Neil Mattinson

Partner

Neil is a landscape architect and a Fellow of the Landscape Institute, the professional chartered body for landscape architects. His professional interests lie chiefly in leisure, recreational, commercial and residential sectors and especially in the planning, design and management of both new build and renewal projects in the urban/rural fringe and public realm. He has substantial experience of leading complex and large scale design projects.

He has over 30 years' experience and his career, to date, is 'book-ended' by two landmark regeneration projects. Firstly, in the early 1980s, Neil was a part of the team designing and delivering the Liverpool International Garden Festival, a project undertaken on derelict land as a catalyst for the regeneration of the city. Currently, Neil is leading the practice's design and delivery programme for the London 2012 Olympic Park. The sustainable ethos, which underpins the project, sets it apart from all other Olympic sites and helped London to win the event for the UK. The park will be a beacon and lasting legacy for the East End of the capital.
