Delivering neighbourhood renaissance and restoring civic pride in Hull

Hull has suffered due to geographical isolation and loss of traditional industries, but recently it’s been the focus for some ambitious regeneration projects.

We were lead designer in the £400m Housing Market Renewal Pathfinder Project for Newington and St Andrews’ 9,000 homes. Our first significant project recast the Victorian-developed, but neglected,West Parks the prime destination for the rejuvenated neighbourhoods, retrofitting KC stadium into the new space.

We led concept design, consultation, planning, detail and construction design for the £1.4m first phase with artist Jason Bruges Studio, including a striking entrance square incorporating historical references and forming a new setting for the historic Carnegie Library.
