We prepared the masterplan, Design and Access Statement, and Design Code for this 60ha urban extension to Oakham in Rutland. The scheme delivers 1,100 homes, retail, healthcare, and employment, providing an attractive gateway to the town. The design balances economic prosperity, the natural features of the site, and the aspirations of the local community.
Our design code sets out the relationship between buildings and public realm, setting quality standards while giving current and future developers the flexibility to respond to changing market and commercial considerations. We have recently prepared a detailed architectural layout for the first phase of the masterplan.
