Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Delivery for Whitehill & Bordon
Major development is planned in Whitehill and Bordon, which will provide 4,000 new homes, regenerate the town centre and establish a new economic focus following the closure of the barracks.
LDA Design led an energy feasibility study which considered how the town could become carbon neutral by 2036. We also prepared an infrastructure delivery plan for the development, designed to improve viability and inform landowner negotiations, advised on the costs of achieving Code for Sustainable Homes targets, and reviewed the sustainable design and construction policies in the draft Local Plan.
