Lincs Offshore Wind Farm
LDA Design was appointed by Centrica to undertake the Seascape, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (SLVIA) for the 270MW Round 2 Lincs Offshore Wind Farm located 8km off the east Lincolnshire coast and 17km from the North Norfolk coast. The SLVIA was incorporated into the environmental statement that accompanied the consent application submitted in January 2007. The scheme, comprising 75 x 3.6MW turbines, received consent in October 2008 and became fully operational in September 2013 providing clean renewable energy for up to 200,000 households.
LDA Design also undertook a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) for the consented onshore substation and associated onshore cable connection.
