Tredegar House and Park
In 2012 Tredegar House and Park transferred to the National Trust under the terms of a fifty-year lease agreement. The acquisition of the property, along with the nearby Dyffryn Gardens and House, has allowed the National Trust to have its first major presence in south-east Wales and the opportunity significantly to grow membership in the region.
LDA Design was appointed to support the National Trust in developing a spatial masterplan for the property. The National Trust envisages transformative change and the plan has the combined objectives of maintaining the special character of the property, and enhancing the visitor experience whilst developing new forms of income to invest back into the property and fund ongoing conservation works.
