George Street 2025 vision unveiled

The City of Edinburgh Council has unveiled final proposed concept designs by LDA Design for the transformation of historic George Street. If approved, construction work could begin as early as 2023. Edinburgh World Heritage described the design as simple and elegant, with new elements carefully introduced to echo the symmetry and materials of the historic streetscape.
