‘What three words would your friends use to describe you’ is one of those classic interview questions that can be difficult to answer. Different friends might very well see different versions of you. Are you the life and soul of the party or bookish, or both?
As we are celebrating our 40th anniversary, we’ve had plenty of time to work out exactly who we are and what matters most to us. But we were intrigued to see how each member of our 150-strong team might describe us and life at LDA Design to a friend.
It’s incredible the power that three little words can have and how far they can carry. What came back was fascinating in its celebration of difference. It soon became clear that the answers were true to each person, reflecting their personality and who they are as much as LDA Design’s. Different adjectives but with an integrity that runs right through.
We liked them so much we made them into postcards, which we launched at a ‘Meet the Professionals’ event at Sheffield University. Word is they went down a treat.
