I joined LDA Design in summer 2022 as a landscape architect after studying for a master’s degree. I have experience working in a social enterprise specialising in meaningful community engagement and community-led design. I enjoy exploring and deepening my understanding of the relationship between people and place.
Since joining LDA’s Bristol studio, I have been involved with projects including renewable energy schemes and the public realm for a purpose-built student accommodation project within Bristol’s emerging temple quarter.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time reading and exploring the valleys around my home. I also like to get involved in my local community. I am part of a group instigating community-led affordable housing, and I am a member of my local community-supported agriculture project.
Q&A
Swift’s Hill near Stroud. It’s a meadow above the town, you can see the meeting of the five valleys and in the distance, on a clear day, you can make out Wales.

'Braiding Sweetgrass' by Robin Wall Kimmerer. There is much to learn from the indigenous wisdom and stories of a deep relationship with place, plants, and science told through this book.
