I am a qualified architect with 15 years’ experience working in the North West. Before joining LDA Design, I worked for a number of well known architectural studios where my work received several accolades and awards.
With a focus on regeneration throughout my career, I am passionate about bringing places back to life. I always get a thrill when discovering a forgotten location, unlocking its potential and bringing it new relevance through creative thinking.
Recently I have enjoyed working on the regeneration of a prominent site in Shrewsbury town centre, a community-led masterplan for a deprived area of Blackpool and a design guide for Trafford Council, which has provided a unique opportunity to promote critical thinking about sustainable approaches to design into the future development of the borough.
When not at work, my time is spent entertaining two young children, who I hope to raise with a love for travel and cultural immersion similar to my own.
People resist change. Every evolution should be seen as an opportunity to improve, include and evolve: learning from the past and looking to the future.
