Arlene Decker
Senior Consultant
I joined LDA Design as a consultant landscape architect with two years’ post-graduate experience. I’ve worked on major infrastructure and large mixed use developments, and residential, public realm and commercial schemes.
My first degree was in drama and I took a landscape architecture master’s degree from the University of Greenwich after four years as a professional actor.
In 2013, I received the Landscape Institute’s Student travel grant which allowed me to volunteer as a landscape architect, designing and managing the programme of works for the Druk White Lotus School in Ladakh, India.
Last year I was in a finalist team for a design ideas competition, Designing the Urban Commons, hosted by Theatrum Mundi. The competition culminated in exhibitions in the London Festival of Architecture and at the Make City Festival in Berlin.
In my spare time, I like to travel, read, dance and be active.
