I came to London after completing my master’s degree in Horticulture in Poland.

After a year of ‘searching’, I decided to study landscape architecture at the University of Greenwich, where I gained my master’s degree.

I joined LDA Design as a project consultant with almost five years’ experience. I have worked on projects at different stages, from site appraisal and feasibility studies to technical design and implementation, specifically within the educational sector.

Through my horticultural background, I developed a passion for plants and planting design. I have experience in designing habitats for ecology and creating safe and sustainable spaces for young children.

In my spare time I like to travel and go to concerts.  Whenever I have a moment I love to play the cello.

Q&A

My favourite green space ...

The High Line in New York. For me it was the first public realm project that demonstrated how our profession can change and reclaim derelict land and give it back to people in a very innovative and beautiful way.

As a Landscape Architect, who has inspired you?

Jan Gehl, because his design philosophy reflects my own approach to the design of the public realm.

I love the view from ...

The top balcony of my family home in Kraczewice, Poland.
