I am a town planner with an environmental background, which has led me to specialising in infrastructure. I’ve tended to work on fairly high profile and complex energy infrastructure projects, including first-of-a-kind technologies.
LDA Design has an impressive track record in consenting renewables and is well positioned to support consenting of the next generation of projects with an intelligent and creative approach which responds to context. I like getting involved early (earlier the better) to frontload the issues, determine the risks and opportunities, and find a solution that fits the brief. Maybe that’s why I also enjoy working on policy and strategy, which has along the way included a few years on the Metropolitan Strategy for Sydney.
My spare time mainly involves being in fresh air, maybe an escape to the coast with the dog, an occasional swim, some music, food and markets.
Y Preseli and the north Pembrokeshire coastline.
The Berwyns, the Snowdonia ranges, a few wind turbines and the Clwydian Hills from Ffridd Fawr.
Being curious, ask the questions, focus on outcomes.
