David Bell

I am a chartered town planner with over 10 years’ professional experience. I have been with LDA Design for more than eight years, initially based in the Exeter office and now working in Oxford.

I am currently working on a range of projects of different scales, advising clients in both the public and private sectors. I enjoy the variety, moving from large development opportunities such as the strategic expansion of Cambridge at Cherry Hinton to more intimate and individual development schemes, like new affordable housing in Reading.

Prior to LDA Design, I worked for a private planning consultancy in Cardiff, and for Cardiff County Council’s Neighbourhood Planning and Regeneration Department. There, I developed my project management skills through delivery of a range of environmental enhancement, regeneration and neighbourhood renewal schemes.
