I am a MLA Landscape Architecture student at the University of Sheffield. I joined LDA Design for my year-long placement in July. I have lived in Manchester my whole life and I love living and working here. The city is made up of diverse landscapes and a captivating history that has significantly influenced its urban fabric. My passion lies in understanding the intricate connections between people and place. I look forward to gaining further invaluable experience during the rest of the year.
When I am not at work, I enjoy running and going to the gym. I have always been active and my love for being outdoors has largely influenced my choice of a career in landscape. I love to travel and have been lucky enough to have visited several places all around the world with family and friends. I hope to slowly tick off more!
Helvellyn, in the Lake District. Beautiful panoramic views stretching for miles with views of the water. It is nice to see how the landscape changes with the seasons every year I visit.
Antoni Gaudí, his work is a fusion of art, architecture, and nature. Park Güell stands as a testament to his innovative approaches and pushed the boundaries of conventional architecture and landscapes. I think all landscape architects should strive to be more experimental.
