For the past 12 years I have worked in the public sector as a senior project manager directing public sector land acquisitions/disposals and mixed use regeneration schemes. I am a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
I have been working with the HCA on projects in Hampshire and Dorset which included Daedalus Enterprise Zone, a 161ha operational airfield. I previously worked for SWRDA on regeneration schemes in Taunton, Dursley, Gloucester and the Olympic Sailing Venue Osprey Quay in Dorset.
I am currently working on a town centre regeneration scheme in Weston-Super-Mare, where the council is exploring exciting new direct delivery options. I am interested in finding solutions to the delivery of mixed use development schemes against a backdrop of further efficiency savings in the public sector.
I believe in team working and that successful regeneration projects all have one common theme – good communication and strong leadership.
