Georgina Perry
Senior Consultant

I’m a chartered town planner with specialisms in community engagement and neighbourhood planning. I have a range of experience collaborating with local communities, steering and working groups to collect evidence, draft locally specific planning policy and step people through the plan-making process. I’ve also worked in the private sector to prepare, submit and monitor a range of planning applications through to successful determination.
Prior to joining LDA Design, I worked on a number of innovative neighbourhood planning, high street and town centre projects across the south west. My undergraduate studies in Human Geography introduced me to the idea of relationships between people, place, nature and heritage. I see town planning as a way to improve these relationships through my work.
Outside of work, I like to explore cities, see live music and attempt to grow my own food.
Q&A
The train between Sheffield and Liverpool, through the Peak District and Manchester. Such contrasting rural and urban landscapes, and both so interesting.
Really listening to the people you’re working with.
The Arcadia Spider in Queen Square, Bristol – like a festival in the middle of the city.
