I’m an urban designer with a master’s degree in Urban Design from Newcastle University. I have more than four years of experience from my time with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy. My experience has been predominantly in residential and renewable sectors, visioning and masterplanning on a range of projects at a variety of scales.

I am passionate about the built environment, the continuous evolution and transformation of places, spaces, and communities never fails to fascinate me. I’m particularly drawn to human-centred design, thinking about the needs of current and future users throughout the development cycle and putting people first.

Q&A

My favourite walk is ...

In the Lake District. I have ticked off a fair few of Wainwright summits, my favourite so far being Helvellyn via Striding Edge from the village of Glenridding.

The last book I read was ...

'Walkable City' by Jeff Speck.

My favourite green and blue space is ...

Cotton Field Park in Manchester. The eco-park consists of green spaces dotted around the marina, with a wide boardwalk that forms the main pedestrian route. It feels like a slice of Scandinavia but in Manchester!
