John Simpson
Director

I have more than 10 years’ experience as a landscape architect. My love for the profession is based on its ability to help shape the way people live for the better. I approach every project with a determination to understand the DNA of a place, harnessing character and culture to create vibrant and attractive places for people to live and work.
I believe in an open and collaborative approach to design, utilising the skills and knowledge of clients, stakeholders and professionals to create the best possible places. My projects include the transformation of Hull City Centre public realm, Sovereign Square and Playhouse Gardens in Leeds.
My passion for landscape architecture is rivalled by my love of music. I find design inspiration through my ‘eclectic’ music collection that soundtracks my working day. Children, drumming, cycling and football (Newcastle United) keep me busy outside of work.
