I joined LDA Design in 2011 after graduating from Falmouth University with a degree in Spatial Design. I’ve worked on a variety of public realm projects including Earlham Street West in London, Carlyon Bay in St Austell, Trumpington School in Cambridge and Serp & Molot in Moscow. I am responsible for visual production for projects, competitions, and concept development for bids.

Outside of work, I enjoy creating individual pieces of art. I am a believer in simplicity being the ultimate sophistication (though that is borrowed from Leonarda da Vinci). Though you can often find me outside with the dog to my left, an ale to my right and a Devonshire view to the front!

What is your secret Superpower at work?

All I can tell you, it’s triggered by a double espresso in the morning.

As a Designer, who has inspired you?

I am inspired more from what I see around me; the intricacy of the natural world, a rich palette of colours, beauty from any angle.

What was the last book you read?

‘The Ladybird Book of Dating’ (Ladybird Books for Grown-Ups). “It is surprising how often that soul-mate turns out not to be on the other side of the world, but fairly nearby, and reasonably drunk. The perfect match.”
