Judy Mak
Project Consultant

I joined LDA Design’s Bristol studio after finishing my landscape architecture master’s in 2019. Before qualifying as a landscape architect, I worked as a nurse in Hong Kong. I am interested in understanding the relationship between people and the natural world, and how the environment can be changed or improved to achieve better health outcomes outside clinical settings. My enthusiasm is so great, it has driven me here to find out the answer!
Every day at LDA Design is a new challenge, one that is both interesting and inspiring. I am enjoying exploring how therapeutic landscape works in promoting wellbeing, across history and countries, from theory to design and practice. I hope everyone can enjoy a healthy life physically, mentally, and spiritually in the future.
