Since graduating in 2012, my life at LDA Design has been a whirlwind of construction drawings, visualisations and design.

I was introduced to the professional world of Landscape Architecture with a lovely public realm project in Porth Teigr: the Outer Lock Crossing, with its playful design and planting approach, showed the difference good design can make even with the smallest of sites.

Highlights so far have been the construction of a transformational riverfront scheme along the River Arun in Littlehampton, and a series of Public Realm and Vision strategies undertaken within the London Borough of Camden.

Outside of work I regularly row on the canal, play rugby, and explore the South Wests’ countryside and beaches.

Q&A

What’s been your proudest moment since joining LDA Design?

Seeing my first construction project completed and in use by the public.

My favourite urban park is …

Bryant Park in New York. A green oasis which changes everyday, making new and original use of the space.

I love the view along …

The West Coast of America, pure ocean and mountains (until the urban sprawl of LA).
