Kristian Bowen
Project Consultant

I recently joined LDA Design having spent five years in practice developing my skills as a landscape architect. I have worked on a wide range of public realm and residential projects. I am particularly interested in what the public realm means to us in the 21st century and how people interact with it.
In my spare time I can be found either playing or watching rugby, listening to music or getting my hobby on with tabletop miniatures.
Q&A
Along the north Norfolk coastline. It’s such a changing, adaptive and often underrated landscape. I’m lucky to be only a stones throw away.
A city’s viewing platform such as London’s Shard or Toronto’s CN Tower. From there you get a brilliant insight into the structure of the city and can see how it’s grown over time.
One of the most memorable things I’ve seen is a large crowd taking over a square in London playing the mobile game Pokémon Go. I'm really interested in how mobiles are used in a city - it's something we need to think about as landscape architects.
