I graduated in 2018 with a masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Greenwich, after a decade working in the distinctly different world of digital advertising. At LDA Design, I now relish being involved in designing remarkable public realm, which is highly liveable, enjoyable and – importantly for me – tangible.

I’m excited to be working on StrandAldwych in Westminster as it represents a truly iconic London landscape, with multiple stakeholders and work streams. It is a satisfying challenge for me to balance these conversations alongside the evolving design work.

The Strand is home to Somerset House – a place I am very fond of – as I love going to exhibitions and events. I am equally happy in my own busy north east London neighbourhood of Stoke Newington, or by the sea at my family home in west Cornwall, as long as I am out and about, exploring and being inspired.

Q&A

I love the view from ...

The clifftop bench on the south west coastal path at our local beach, Porthtowan, in Cornwall. It’s also where my husband proposed, anyone would think he knew!

A favourite walk is ...

The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk in Sydney. I lived there for five years and it is totally exhilarating at any time of day or year, but especially sunrise.

If you could change one thing about your local high street …

I would pedestrianise Church Street in Stoke Newington. It was totally transformed when this was trialled on Car Free Day in September 2019.
