I joined LDA Design having completed my MLA at Kingston University. Before this, I undertook an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science which included an Erasmus year spent in Paris. It was during this year, and many countless hours spent wandering the city’s streets and parks, that I discovered a passion for landscape architecture and design.
During the final year of my masters, I went on a university trip to Ahmedabad in India, and based my final portfolio on the Riverfront Development project there – a truly fascinating experience. Since joining LDA Design, I’ve worked on projects in Canada, Russia and the UK, and I look forward to many more in the future.
On a long summer's day going from Mile End, through Victoria Park, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Wanstead Flats and ending up in Epping Forest. A great journey from urban landscapes to nature, with some great green spaces along the way.
East of Eden by John Steinbeck
People in India dancing by the riverfront at 6am. A scheme called Happy Streets brought thousands to the water before sunrise for a range of different activities – anything from martial arts to live comedy to constructing 3D art. It was definitely more than I’d bargained for when I dragged myself out of bed.
