Matt Wooding

I am a chartered landscape architect with more than 10 years’ professional experience. Prior to joining LDA Design, I worked at two very different practices, which allowed me to work on a wide range of projects: from a new park in Ukraine built with the spoil from the adjacent iron ore mine; to the grounds of a hotel in the centre of Bishkek, Kyrgystan; to the gardens of a historic estate for a musician in Dublin.

I’m currently working on Barking Riverside, an exciting regeneration project located on the banks of the Thames that covers 443 acres and will eventually provide more than 10,000 new homes.

When not working, I spend most of my free time running around after my two young sons: Teddy and Laurie.
