I joined LDA Design as a consultant after completing two years of study for a master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Sheffield. My final project responds to the wildfire problem in England. It propose strategies based on the moorland’s own character and form to better protect it.

I am interested in sustainable landscapes and nature-based solutions and I think it is important to design with nature to achieve a more sustainable future. I also think about the relationship between landscape and user, and how the landscape can bring about positive physical and psychological benefits for people.

Outside work, you can find me at the gym or in the park. Being with nature is my favourite thing. I also spend my spare time watching movies, exploring new cafés and beautiful outdoor spaces.

I love the view from …

The train window passing through the Peak District. Every time I pass that area on the train, I marvel at the beauty of nature.

My favourite tree is …

Ginkgo. I love how they turn golden in the fall, and their leaves are so pretty. I always collect them for bookmarks.

The last book I read was …

'The Stranger' by Albert Camus. This book is about the absurd things the main character encounters in an absurd world and his own experiences. It's a classic and an interesting book about philosophy and existentialism.
