I have worked as a Landscape Architect for 30 years, joining LDA Design in 2002. I manage multi disciplinary projects including energy, infrastructure, housing, health, leisure, minerals and environmental planning. I advise landowners, developers and local authorities on the feasibility, landscape planning, design and impact assessment of new developments.
Central to my philosophy is a thorough understanding of our ecosystems, and designing and managing landscapes for a sustainable future.
I am currently leading our work on Amenity and Recreation Assessment for Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station. I recently helped the Homes and Communities Agency secure planning consent at Appeal for 1,000 dwellings at Land East of Hardingstone, Northampton, giving evidence on masterplanning, landscape and visual matters.
In my spare time I love to be with my family or cultivating my allotment.
Q&A
South Island, New Zealand because it is wild, beautiful and rich in biodiversity, the locals are friendly and it is a safe place to travel.
Some people don’t care about the environment in the same way that I do.
