I am an urban designer with a broad experience in masterplanning, urban design and architecture. I have worked on a range of projects within the UK in particular large-scale regeneration schemes in Central London.
What fascinates me most about design is the process of thinking, questioning, exploring, innovating and contributing to the creation of great places. The opportunity of dealing with different scales constantly inspires me, challenges my perception of good design and how to create positive, memorable experiences within the built environment for everyone.
I am very passionate about academic research, taking part in collaborative design laboratories and international conferences.
In my spare time I enjoy reading books, drawing, playing tennis and strolling around London’s flower markets.
Jane Jacobs and her book 'The Death and Life of Great American Cities'. I always recall that the vision of a successful place should be built around its people.
Mount Kalamos on the Greek island of Anafi. The scenery and the colours when reaching the top always take my breath away.
The simplest things are always the hardest to do.
