I’m an imaginative Chartered Landscape Architect, passionate about pushing the limits of design and helping to create great spaces.  I recently joined LDA Design with almost six years’ experience of creating and delivering high quality projects throughout the UK and beyond.

I am particularly interested in the relationship between people and the environment, their inter-dependency and the benefits that landscape architecture can offer communities. I love to devise creative planting designs and to refine conceptual strategies into considered landscapes.

Recent projects include a large mixed-use masterplan for historic Filton Airfield,  a new country park in Rugby and a landscape design for a new hospital for Birmingham.

I enjoy walks in the countryside and watching old films whilst crafting small felt creatures.

I love the view from ...

The top of a dune. The vast expanse of the sea and views of a dramatic coastline either side of you, and the feeling of the sand beneath your feet. This is true perfection for me.

The last book I read was ...

The Bear and the Nightingale and Happy City - a great book about how some cities across the world are getting it right (and some just plain wrong).

What is the most memorable thing you’ve ever seen in a public space?

A Lindy Hop ballroom dancing class in a London Square, of course I got involved!
