Despite journeying into the world of urban design slightly later than most, storytelling has always been a constant throughout my career. After finishing my Geography degree in Manchester in 2016, I worked in marketing on campaigns for five years.

I have always been fascinated by people and how they see the world, so I returned to Manchester in 2021 to study for an MSC in Urban Design and International Planning. My thesis focussed on community and inclusive urban design in stadia-led regeneration.

In my spare time I love being active, and growing up in Cornwall has fuelled my love for the outdoors. My active lifestyle has meant I get to enjoy eating or cooking a seaside classic fish pie or mussels.

My favourite place is ...

El Poblado in Medellín, Colombia. A wholesome and lively community living against the backdrop of the Andes.

My favourite walk is …

The walk from Charlestown to Blackhead point in Cornwall

The last book I read was …

'American Dirt' by Jeannine Cummins.
