LDA Design is appointed to lead the design of all external spaces on the Battersea Power Station project. The masterplan for the site will ultimately deliver over 9 hectares of open space, including a public park and new water frontage. The waterfront will be transformed into a public park connected to the Power Station through a square at its northern entrance. Another square will provide connection at the southern entrance, linking to two new streets – Electric Boulevard and the Prospect. As well as a disc shaped reflecting pool forming the immediate setting to the Power Station, our design comprises several dramatic roof gardens.
